Curriculum
Web design training,
built as a course.
This is the main training path for Jambo Learn. The glossary and catalogs support it, but the curriculum carries the sequence: foundations, studio process, component craft, launch, and capstone.
Program shape
11 modules, 16 weeks, one portfolio capstone.
The order follows how real work happens: understand the context, learn the foundations, structure the page, craft components, validate the design, and prepare the work for launch.
Studio process
Discovery, pricing, brief, scope, UX research, landing page strategy, critique, handoff, launch, and follow-up.
Visual and web foundations
Gestalt, hierarchy, typography, color, grids, responsive layout, mobile behavior, box model, motion, and conversion.
Component and product craft
Buttons, forms, filters, search, navigation, modals, sign-up, pricing, carts, dashboards, pagination, tabs, and states.

Program setup
Orientation and designer mindset
Sets the learning standard: design is a practical skill for solving real business and user problems, not only making screens look polished.
Project intake
Client discovery and project setup
Turns the freelance and client-document material into a repeatable intake system: qualify the request, collect context, define scope, and start cleanly.
Design basics
Visual perception and design foundations
Builds the perceptual foundation from Gestalt principles, visual hierarchy, balance, spacing, density, and grouping.
Design basics
Typography and color systems
Moves type and color from decoration into reusable systems for readability, emphasis, accessibility, and brand expression.
Web craft
Web layout, responsive design, and mobile
Covers the practical web layer: Figma setup, resolution choices, grids, containers, box model, responsive vs adaptive behavior, and mobile-first review.
Web design process
UX research and landing page strategy
Moves from project brief to UX analysis, SWOT, sitemap, sandbox exploration, content strategy, and landing page structure.
Web design process
UI direction, wireframes, and prototyping
Covers inspiration boards, mood boards, style direction, wireframes, and the move from structure to polished prototype.
Component craft
Component systems: core controls
Turns the UI component guide into reusable production thinking for buttons, forms, filters, search, navigation, modals, and sign-up flows.
Component craft
Product patterns and dashboard UI
Covers higher-order patterns from the component guide: pricing, carts, dashboards, hero sections, pagination, tab bars, and decision-heavy screens.
Delivery
Launch, handoff, and post-launch operations
Turns the no-code, speed, pre-launch, handoff, and wrap-up material into a delivery system for safe releases and ongoing improvement.
Portfolio proof
Capstone: Jambo landing page system
Combines the full curriculum into one portfolio-quality project: discovery, strategy, responsive UI, component system, prototype, handoff, and launch plan.
