Cookie banner
A bar asking the user to consent to cookies and tracking.
A cookie banner is the strip (usually at the bottom of a website) that explains the site uses cookies and asks the user to accept, reject, or customize. Required by privacy laws like GDPR.
Make Reject as easy as Accept — burying it behind two clicks is now considered a dark pattern. Keep the banner small and dismissable so it does not dominate the page on every visit.
