The set of colors a design uses.
A palette is the small group of colors a project picks and sticks to. A clear palette gives the design unity — every screen feels like part of the same family.
A simple palette has 3 to 6 colors: a base, an accent, and a few neutrals. Limiting your palette is harder than expanding it, but it makes the result much stronger. Colors that sit close on the color wheel share a family feel — useful when you blend them in gradients.
