Font family
A complete set of related fonts under one name.
A font family is a group of fonts that share a design. "Inter Regular," "Inter Bold," and "Inter Italic" are all members of the Inter family. Each one is a font; together they form the family.
A good design rarely needs more than two families — one for headings, one for body. Mixing more usually creates noise. The trick is picking families whose personalities complement each other.
