Dropdown
A menu that opens to reveal a list of options.
A dropdown hides a list behind a single button or field. Click it, and a menu of choices appears. Pick one and the menu closes.
Dropdowns are great for moderate option lists (5 to 20 items). With too few options, plain buttons are simpler. With too many, search and filtering help more.
