Command palette
A keyboard-driven search box for finding and running commands.
A command palette is a small overlay (usually Cmd+K) that opens with a search input. The user types what they want — a page, a setting, an action — and presses Enter. Power users live in it.
Most useful in apps with many features that would otherwise need deep menus. Show keyboard shortcuts next to each result so users can learn them. Always allow Esc to close.
