Grid
An invisible structure of columns and rows that aligns content.
A grid is a hidden framework that elements snap to. It is invisible to users but gives the designer a consistent way to place things — every element on the page lines up to the same columns.
A typical web grid has 12 columns. The grid handles alignment, rhythm, and responsive breakpoints all at once. Once you commit to a grid, the layout almost designs itself.
