Password strength meter
A bar that shows how strong a typed password is.
A strength meter sits below a password field and updates in real time. It might show a colored bar that fills up — red for weak, yellow for okay, green for strong — plus a short label.
A meter teaches users the rules of a good password as they type. Be specific about what is missing ("add a number" beats "weak") so the user knows how to improve.
