Full bleed

Content that extends edge to edge with no side margins.

Full-bleed (a print-design term) means the image, video, or color extends all the way to the screen edges — no white space frames it. Used for impact: hero images, immersive sections, dramatic photography.

Reserve full-bleed for moments when you want the user to slow down. A full-bleed photo of a product feels luxurious. A full-bleed wall of text feels exhausting.
