Empty state
What the screen shows when there is no content yet.
An empty state appears the first time the user opens a list, inbox, or feature with nothing in it. A blank screen feels broken, so a good empty state shows an illustration, a friendly explanation, and a clear next step.
Make the empty state feel like an opportunity, not a dead end. "No projects yet — create your first one" is better than "No data." Tell the user exactly what they can do to fill the space.
